è il titolo di un servizio video a firma di Fabio Tonacci che ho visto poco fa sul sito di Repubblica. Si riferisce all’occupazione delle Facoltà di Lettere e di Scienze Politiche (Università di Roma La Sapienza) nella notte dal 21 al 22 ottobre 2008.

Oggi, ad esempio, vedo questo video girato da Youreporter nella mia ex facoltà (Scienze Politiche di Milano) durante l’interruzione della lezione del prof. Giorgio Barba Navaretti (→scheda su LaVoce.info):
Toh, queste scene le ho già viste quando ero studente: allora, però, non c’erano le videocamere digitali. Allora come oggi non posso fare a meno di annusare aria di prevaricazione. Una sensazione sgradevole che vorrei evitare a qualsiasi costo. Mi tranquillizzo pensando che, per fortuna, non insegno più in quella facoltà.

Regardless of what anyone feels about the new law or “occupazione “, those two students were victims of their own “protagonismo”… ganging-up, bullying, intimidating a professor is not “occupazione” and is not an exercise in freedom of speech. It is bullying and is violence pure and simple. The method and means defeats any nobility in the cause here.
Save this kind of mindless screaming, offenses,accusations and ideological showcasing for the football stadiums where the culture of mass ignorance, violence and conformism has been subsidized by the private and public sector for years.
Constructive dialogue, persuasion and change does not come about from this unfortunately.
